ABSOLUTION DENIED is a metal band formed and established in Medellin since 2009. Since 2015, ABSOLUTION DENIED has held three editions of their independent festival, WHEN DEATH CALLS FEST, featuring renowned bands from the national scene.
Our most recent production, RED HARVEST (2023), is an album that continues an exploration and experimentation with sounds from contemporary and alternative metal, aiming to solidify an identity built over 15 years with our various productions. RED HARVEST has been the best-received album by our followers, as well as by the press and specialized portals, placing it at the top of national and Latin American productions in 2023. In addition to a promotional tour visiting 6 cities and sharing stages with prominent bands from the national scene.
Some of our appearances on national and international stages and festivals include: ALTAVOZ INTERNACIONAL (2013), CONGREGATION FEST (2013), MANIZALES GRITA ROCK (2014), QUITO FEST (2014), BARCELONA (COL) METAL FEST (2018).
Some of our opening acts for international bands include: ANVIL, LOCK UP, PARKWAY DRIVE, KATAKLYSM, VENOM, MISFITS, SAMAEL, EXODUS, ACCEPT, DARKANE, WITCHERY, SODOM, TERRORIZER, SEPULTURA, and KRISIUN.
In 2024, we are preparing to continue the promotional tour for RED HARVEST. We also plan to work on the fourth edition of our festival, WHEN DEATH CALLS FEST, and start working on a fourth full-length album.
ABSOLUTION DENIED es una agrupación de metal conformada y establecida en Medellín desde el año 2009.
Desde el año 2015, ABSOLUTION DENIED ha celebrado tres ediciones de su festival independiente, WHEN DEATH CALLS FEST, en el que han participado bandas de renombre de la escena nacional.
Nuestra más reciente producción, RED HARVEST (2023), es un álbum en el que se continúa una exploración y experimentación con los sonidos provenientes del metal contemporáneo y alternativo y en el que se intenta consolidar una identidad construida durante 15 años con nuestras distintas producciones. El RED HARVEST ha sido el álbum mejor recibido por nuestros seguidores, así como por la prensa y portales especializados, que lo situaron en los primeros lugares de las producciones nacionales y latinoamericanas del año 2023. Además de una gira promocional en la que visitamos 6 ciudades y compartimos con bandas prominentes de la escena nacional.
